Well, hopefully this is the beginning of a new era, or something.
For those of you just dropping by: this is the first post for this incarnation of my blog, and I will be steadily moving over some of the more worthwhile archived posts from elsewhere and backdating them, when I've got the time.
We'll see how this goes; meantime, feel free to say hi in the comments.
